My name is Sophie Rodriguez and I am from Houston, Texas. I just wrapped up my 2nd year as graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University, where I am pursuing my MFA in Technical Direction.

I enjoy all aspects of scenery ranging from the scenic carpentry or the technical design of a production, to spending time working in repertory with both large and small scale musicals and operas.

In my free time, I love being outdoors or teaching myself how to do new art-related things such as embroidery projects, crochet projects, or small sewing projects. I hope to hear from you soon!
